A producer's toolkit, not a song button
Fadr, from the team at fadr.com, made a deliberate choice: don't generate songs for people, give them sharper tools to take songs apart and rebuild them. Stem separation, key and tempo sync, MIDI extraction, plus SynthGPT and DrumGPT — that bundle, in a browser, is genuinely strong.
It isn't flawless, and pretending otherwise wouldn't help you. Reviewers note generated and separated audio quality can be variable. Most of the best features — individual drum separation, lossless WAV, DrumGPT, unlimited storage — sit behind Fadr Plus, and free users export MP3 only. Several headline tools (the DJ deck, SynthGPT) are still labelled beta, and collaboration is thin since the focus is individual workflows.
What it nails: removing the tedious analysis from remixing and sampling, and a text-to-synth engine that few competitors offer at all. SynthGPT alone is a real reason to try it.
Read that way, Fadr is for people who already make or rework music and want faster, smarter tools — not someone who wants a finished song from a sentence. It's honest about being the former.
